			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So, it seems that Mr BOFH is at it again.  In his <a href="http://thebetaguy.com/exclusives/?postid=1029344029&amp;title=microsoft-windows-7-exclusive" target="_blank">&#8220;Windows 7 Exclusive&#8221;</a> he claims that Microsoft will do away with the backwards Application compatibility that is currently present in Windows Vista.  I am here to assure everyone that this is NOT true.  Windows 7 will not be doing away with any backwards compatibility.  As a matter of fact it will be largely based on Vista so most things that work on Vista should naturally work on Windows 7.</p>
