About Me
Introduction
My name is Chris Holmes. I am 25 years old and was born and raised in New York, where I still live today. I have been interested in computers and technology for as long as I can remember, going all the way back to when I was 2 years old punching the keys on an Apple IIe. Of course as time went on I went to the PC side of things and I have been there ever since.
What do you do?
Well, my current day job is that of an Automotive Electrician. This pretty much involves anything electrical in a car, truck etc… Everything from charging and starting systems, to wiring issues, to computer diagnostics.
When I am not at my day job I am a tinkerer and a tweaker who loves to play with bleeding edge hardware and software. Many of you probably remember me from back in the day when I used to publish tweak guides with every build release of Longhorn/Windows Vista. Truth be told I love seeing how stuff works, and how I can improve it and make the experience that much better. That love has not died, I have tinkered with Windows 7 a lot, and now I am back working my magic on Windows 8, seeing what makes Microsoft’s newest creation tick.
