Windows 7 Beta Testing – Interesting Read
So a reader e-mailed me a link to this new blog that has springed up. It has a very interesting name. The author calls it “Windows 7 Nightmares”. The point he is trying to drive with this blog is how and why the Windows 7 Beta has been mis-managed and goes into some detail about how Microsoft is managing things currently. Anyway I suggest you all read it if you want to know what’s going on.
As for who the author is, I have no Idea, but whoever it is, they definitely know what they’re talking about because their information is accurate.

That seemed like a waste of time. Half the article was spent complaining about VM support; Which we already know sucks. Most of the other half was complaining about TBT’s not being listened to during Vista’s testing, not having access to later win7 builds, and bugs not being fixed immediately.
The only time he actually complained about Windows 7 itself is a couple points when he bitches about ribbon and UAC.

The point of the blog is to complain about the piss-poor way the beta program was managed, not the OS itself.

Good read Chris, seems like Microsoft could manage things a bit differently.

I saw the article as nothing but a waste of time. All I really have to say to the author is: Would you like some cheese with that whine?
Windows 7 is perfectly fine. I’m glad they’re taking their time with it to make sure it’s baked just right.
