Windows Live Team not listening? I'm sorry but all my suggestions, I repeat, all my suggestions from WLM 8 got added into WLM 2009. Maybe not only because of me, but because of people asking for it.

I remember testing the live services on the web and giving feedback as soon as we got to it. Lot's of my feedback got taken seriously and some parts of it are added right away. Incompatible with google chrome? A week later, MS fixed it (untill chrome was updated again wich destroyed it again).

So many things I liked and suggested over the years got added in the 2009 release. And we testers are able to simply start a chat at any time with one of the Windows Live developers, and give our feedback. Not just offline messaging, but direct response.

I know some feedback got not fixed in the RTM release, but as MS explained most of those things barelly got used. That not a way to simply leave the bug there, but other things got more priority.

In the Windows Beta, you get NO usefull replies, serious issues (like UAC) never got taken seriously, or even heard. Only after like 5 HUGE threats they could take 2 minutes of their time telling it was by design. Like if we didn't know that already.

In the past few years I learned two things. Get in personal contact with the developers when possible, 2nd make noice about important issues not taken seriously.
